Privacy Policy
Evil Tips is a tip calculator. It doesn't collect, store or share your personal information.
The short version
- No account, no sign-in.
- No data leaves your phone.
- No analytics, no ads, no tracking.
What the app keeps on your device
To work properly, Evil Tips saves a few things only on your iPhone:
- Your settings: currency, default tip percentage, and whether sound and haptics are on.
- Your current calculation: the bill amount, tip percentage and split. If you leave the app and come back within 30 minutes, you pick up where you left off. After that, they're cleared.
This information never leaves your device. It isn't sent to us or to anyone else. Deleting the app removes it.
What we don't collect
Evil Tips doesn't collect or have access to:
- your name, email address or contact details
- your location
- your contacts, photos, camera or microphone
- payment or banking information
- usage data, crash data or device identifiers
The app makes no network connections.
This website
eviltips.com uses no cookies and no analytics. Our host, GitHub Pages, may keep standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operations.
Third parties
Evil Tips contains no third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking code. If that ever changes, this policy and the App Store privacy label will be updated first.
Downloads, ratings, reviews, and any crash reports you choose to share are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy.
If you choose Rate Evil Tips in Settings, the rating prompt is shown and handled by Apple. If you choose Contact, your email app opens, and anything you send is handled under that email provider's terms. We use your message only to reply to you.
Children
Evil Tips isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
